During the last fortnight, we have been involved in many opportunities to work together to gain new learning such as looking closely at how words are formed, how sentences work and how text types such as factual descriptions are structured. We are currently investigating the various interesting ways animals protect themselves as well as starting to look at equal parts of a whole and why and how we use fractions in our daily lives. We also had fun learning and working outside - collecting and connecting with as many things that were natural to create mandalas in our playground. As it was National Tree Day recently, we hugged a tree instead of planting a tree.
