The Young Archies Awards are modelled on the famous Archibald Prize and this event is held each year. Years 2/3 and 5/6 from Franklin Primary School had a go at creating portraits of someone special and known personally to each student. The categories are Years 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6. The criteria is that four artworks are selected from each category to enter the Young Archies Awards. All students did amazing artwork. Congratulations to the following students whose portraits were selected:

Year 2: Sofia, Matilda, Eliza, Suske

Year 3: Chase, Eleanor, Boadie, Jackson

Year 5-6: Hazel, Heidi, Ollie, Maja

In 2020, Young Archies Awards will be going online. All entries will be displayed in virtual galleries and will be available for viewing from Tuesday 08 September 2020.
