As Term 3 draws to a close, we are wrapping up our Science Inquiry ‘How do living things protect themselves?’ by finishing our research and publishing our factual descriptions about our chosen animal. We each chose how to publish our research such as in the form of a poster, a Powerpoint or making a sculpture of our animal out of Modwrap. During this week, we will each present our new learning to the class. We have also been busy planning, drafting and publishing our recounts of our recent excursion to the Raptor Refuge where we learned so much about Tasmanian raptors, how they protect themselves as well as how people can and need to protect them. We loved it when the tour guide brought in her pet Masked Owl on her arm.
