Our Inquiry is well underway. After discussing how we would like our classroom rules to help us to feel happy and safe while learning in the classroom, we are now exploring the question ‘How can we make a positive effect on ourselves and the people around us?” We have been doing lots of partner and small team sharing and learning along the way and we are going to see where the learning journey takes us as different wonderings arise. Our main focus in Writing this term is Persuasive Writing and we have been looking how it compares to other text types. In Maths, we are investigating place value and how using tens is an effective strategy when problem solving with numbers.
