KINDER
Our shapes in nature inquiry has led us to studying the clouds. I asked the children, how is rain made?
They drew their initial thinking and had many ideas. One child thought that a water wheel flicked the water up into the clouds to make it rain, whilst another thought that dolphins had a large part to play in the process!
So, we thought that we needed to do some research. We watched a science clip and looked through some books and discovered the water cycle. We discussed what it meant as a group and the children then drew their second thinking on how rain was made.
This week, to reinforced that knowledge, the children were grouped into pairs and asked to work as a team to show me the water cycle using the tiles. I then asked them to be the teachers and explain to me how the water cycle worked.
They did such an amazing job; I was so proud of them.
Little people really are amazing!
