YEAR 4-5
Students had an excellent time at the John Elliott Classics Museum where they learned about everyday life in Ancient Greek and Roman times. This was a brilliant way to wrap up our inquiry from last term. Our new class inquiry is now well underway. Students have been busy exploring animal adaptations that make them suited to their environment and natural cycles such as the water cycle and life cycles. They have been researching and planning to write information reports on animals who are under threat because of environmental impacts on their habitats. In literacy, we have been analysing information reports and strengthening our notetaking and researching skills. In numeracy, we have been representing and interpreting data displays and we have started mapping.
We were so proud of all students for participating in the school cross country carnival.
