Year One has been enjoying their new Inquiry unit “What is change?” with students  exploring how technology has changed over time. After some interesting donations from the Huonville tip shop we thought about what these items might be. After predicting what might be inside, we started “tinkering”.

Lance Balchin’s book Mechanica has inspired us to reuse parts of these items to make an insect.
