We have been busy bees in the Kindergarten exploring owls. We have used this aspect of our inquiry to help build our oral language and storytelling skills. Our inquiry question is ‘how can we use the natural environment to spark our imagination and help us tell stories?’ We have drawn and retold adventures that our clay owls have had. Children have been retelling their favourite story, Owl Babies using concrete materials and this week we have had the puppet theatre out which they LOVE. A group of children even made tickets for the show. Writing which had a real purpose for them. They have been working and playing so beautifully together.
